What would you do if you found a winning lottery ticket on the floor of a supermarket? Unless you immediately said ‘feed the homeless’, there’s a decent chance 7-year-old Phoebe Brown is a better person than you.

The girl and her mom were shopping at Hy-Vee store in Independence, Missouri when she found a lotto ticket worth $100 on the floor.

Instead of spending the winnings on herself, Phoebe used it to buy food for the Sycamore Hills Elementary School food drive. And thanks to her donation, the school was able to donate more than 1,700 canned goods.

They collected so many groceries that the school actuallywon the Independence School District’s 150th anniversary food drive competition.

The outpouring of groceries led the Sycamore Hills Elementary to winning the Independence School District’s 150th anniversary food drive competition. And since the second grade (due to Phoebe) collected the most items, they got to shave the gym teacher’s giant beard.

For the record: I still think getting to shave someone when you win something is super weird, but the kiddos seem to like it.
