Lola, a 1.5 pound teacup Chihuahua who was stolen, is now back in the arms of her human, a 93-year-old World War II veteran who thought he would never see her again.

That face!

According to reports, a boy saw a woman drive up to Roger LeClair’s front yard in a red car and snatch tiny the tiny pup on Nov. 9. Obviously devastated by the cruel act, LeClair posted signs in the neighborhood and even offered a reward for the dog’s safe return. In an interview with local news, he said, “She was only the size of a large mouse when I first got her. We sleep together, we go everywhere together. She’s just the love of my life.”

The news station’s report on the theft generated more than 1 million views on Facebook and was widely shared by people hoping to reunite the vet and the little pup. And on Saturday a woman found the pup at a school.

“Oh sweetheart, my goodness,” LeClair said to the woman as he petted Lola. “I don’t know how to thank you.” And the pup appears to be okay… definitely better now that she’s with her person.
